Summary: Hotel San Marco deserves its excellent rating. Reception staff very efficient, and very accommodating when family visited one evening. Room was very clean and spacious, a kettle was provided with coffee and tea, bathrobes, toiletries and slippers were available. The balcony overlooked a local park. Breakfasts were excellent. A huge variety of cereals, cold and cooked choices and delicious cakes pastries and fresh fruits, and hot and cold drinks were available. We really appreciated the huge fridge containing yoghurts milks etc. A very busy breakfast room was very efficiently served by friendly and approachable staff. Outdoor tables looked up to the Citta Alta. The rooftop restaurant served a good selection of choices, beautifully presented by discrete and well trained staff. Views to the illuminated Citta Alta were breathtaking. The hotel is conveniently situated for local bus services to Citta Alta, the train station, and the airport bus stops right opposite the hotel. We would certainly recommend this hotel!
